ATD NYC: What You Need to Know – August 14, 2019
Bylaws Voting Closes August 23
An email was sent to every member as of August 15th with the voting information. Email titled, “Vote on Proposed Changes to ATD NYC Bylaws (2019 version)." It includes the links and information about our proposed bylaws updates. Voting opened on August 15th and will close on August 23rd. Note that you may have to log in to your ATD NYC account in order to complete the voting process since voting is restricted to members only.

2020 Board Elections Update
We have received 9 applications for the 2020 Board! The roles of President, VP Programs, and VP Marketing are still accepting applications. You can learn more about the benefits of being a Board Member and read about each of our one-year Board roles here: 2020 Board of Directors Information. Email contact@atdnyc.org or talk with any Board member if you have questions.

ATD Member Week Coming Soon
Mark your calendars! ATD’s Member Week will take place September 9-13. Throughout this week, ATD national members will have access to daily, exclusive sales on the most popular ATD products and services. Additionally, ATD Professional and Professional Plus memberships will be available at 10 percent off standard rates.
Meeting Space Assistance
We are asking for your help in identify meeting space for our Chapter events, SIG events, or workshops. As a non-profit, we rely on our members to help. Talk to any Board member or email contact@atdnyc.org if you have available space or have suggestions for us to pursue.
CPLP Study Group
Our CPLP Study group now has 3 members. If you would like to join them, please email contact@atdnyc.org. You can also find study tools in the ATD Store.
Talent Development Book Club
Your votes were tabulated and Radical Candor: Be a Kick-Ass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity by Kim Scott will be our next selection. We’ll begin reading on August 22nd. Visit our Talent Development Book Club page for a summary, a video, and more information.
