The People Analytics SIG is where chapter members come together to learn about and share the latest thinking in data driven analytics to enable learning and performance. The People Analytics SIG provides a safe space to explore ideas, tools, and technology in an open, welcoming environment. Meetings are held both in person and virtually to provide members the opportunity to gain proficiency and experience in various data analytic techniques, tools, and processes. We welcome members with all levels of expertise in people analytics and believe that we learn best when we learn together.
The People Analytics SIG will meet quarterly and offer both in-person and webinar events to address common People Analytics issues around turnover, learning analytics, organizational effectiveness, and engagement.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the People Analytics SIG regardless of whether you’re an analytics novice or a pro!
People Analytics is about using a data-driven approach to inform your people practices, programs and processes. Analytical techniques, ranging from reporting and metrics to predictive analytics to experimental research can help you uncover new insights, solve people problems and direct your learning and development actions.
We are a group of people working in the space between HR, learning, and Data, helping companies realize potential and value their employees through a data-driven perspective. The goal of this group is to allow learning and development professionals to learn how to use data and analytics in the talent management/development space. ATD NYC’s People Analytics group would be the first in the nation and would set a new benchmark for chapters across the country.
