Coaching SIG: Neuroscience and Positive Psychology Coaching-How to Accelerate Change

Learn a revolutionary, neuroscience-based coaching technique that accelerates your clients’ learning and development.

Registration is now open.

Program Description

One of a coach’s biggest challenges is to help clients make authentic and sustainable behavior change, as quickly as possible. New discoveries aided by brain mapping technologies have ushered in a methodology that accelerates positive behavior change, with results that are nothing short of stunning.

Imagine you’ve just participated in a workshop that builds on the seminal work of Dr. Richard Boyatzis, and his colleagues at Case Western University, and provides you with a first-hand experience of Coaching with Compassion. This technique intentionally stimulates specific regions of the brain that support relaxation, deeper listening, and open-mindedness to new ideas and behavior change – a.k.a. sticky learning.

This workshop will take you on a deep dive that will both inspire you and leave you with the confidence to utilize this powerful modality, on the very next day.

When you apply the Coaching with Compassion technique, you and your clients will typically feel more energized, and you’ll experience a significant breakthrough in the quality of your coaching conversations. Maybe change doesn't have to be so difficult.

    Intended Audience

This workshop is designed for (experienced) executive leadership coaches – internal and external – and leadership trainers who seek new modalities for their coaching practices.

Applications of Coaching with Compassion include:

    • Giving/Receiving “Constructive” Feedback
    • Overcoming Self-Imposed Obstacles
    • Leading Through Resistance
    • Onboarding
    • Goal Setting
    • Navigating Challenging Relationships
    • Career Development
