About The Event
This interactive workshop will be led by veteran Upright Citiizens’s Brigade (UCB) instructors, and is designed to use the foundations of improvisational comedy (improv) to connect everyone in a safe and welcoming space. Through the lens of improv, you will experience a fun, team-building workshop that will improve the group’s communication, adaptability, and confidence skills.
The session will begin with improv warm ups and ice-breakers, allowing both extroverts and introverts to be the same page. No one will "put on the spot" in any way that makes them uncomfortable. A series of improv exercises chosen by UCB's Academic Director will demonstrate how the core improv concepts of collaboration and active listening can yield an increased sense of empowerment and trust within professional environments.

About The Host
The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre was launched in New York City in 1998 by Amy Poehler, Mat Besser, Ian Roberts and Mat Walsh.
