Demystifying the Shift from Training to Performance: A Conversation with Gary Wise

We and our stakeholders have been working under the myth that “Training Drives Performance”. What if Training is only a fraction of the solution? How does the conversation CHANGE in order to bring about a holistic solution that drives measurable performance outcomes?
Join Performance Support expert Gary Wise for a candid conversation about the above questions and more. This session is not a presentation but rather a candid conversation conducted in interview format allowing for questions from participants throughout.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Gary G. Wise
Workforce Productivity Advocate – Speaker – Coach
Living In Learning
Gary Wise is an established Advocate for Productivity, Speaker and Coach with over 35-years of cross-industry leadership experiences in Sales and Corporate Learning & Development. After confronting a blind spot and a lingering myth – that Training solutions drive and sustain workforce performance – He recognized a reality hiding in plain sight…true measurable performance outcomes only manifest at Point-of-Work. This hard truth is that "Point-of-Work" is out of scope for many training organizations and the solutions they so often design and apply.
His professional emphasis has evolved and narrowed to enabling holistic, pre-design discovery that reveals attributes of restrainers that limit or prevent acceleration of workforce productivity at Point-of-Work. This is accomplished by enabling L&D Teams with a Point-of-Work Assessment methodology (PWA) that deliver findings that serve as a performance road map to targeted discovery critical to intentionally designing solutions that optimize performance outcomes at Point-of-Work.
His background and expertise are grounded in Performance Consulting and he offers coaching and advisory support for organizations pursuing a paradigm of Performance and Workforce Capability.
