Are your virtual classes stagnant? Are you using the same tools - polling, whiteboards, chat- that you’ve used for years? Are your participants multitasking despite efforts to draw them in? Do you want to find new ways to engage learners?

Are you thinking about the future and how new technologies and new mindsets will influence your virtual training’s effectiveness?

In this interactive online session with virtual learning expert Cindy Huggett, you’ll learn 5 keys to digital literacy: smooth video, quality audio, advance preparation, audience engagement, and mobile mastery. You'll learn how to communicate virtually with practical tips such as when to turn on the webcam (and when to leave it off), and how to make your audio sound crystal clear for clarity. You’ll also learn what exactly to include in pre-session communication, how to engage a remote audience using platform tools. You’ll also learn presentation tips for remote users who join live events by mobile device.

You'll leave with a list of ready-to-use action items that can be immediately applied to your next virtual event.  In this session, you will:

  • Assess your current "digital literacy" as a virtual presenter
  • Use virtual platform tools to engage remote audiences
  • Present yourself professionally with clear audio and video
  • Create an action plan to increase your credibility in virtual events

Audience: Anyone who presents or facilitates live online virtual events (webinars, webcasts, training classes, or virtual meetings).  Come prepared to engage in the online event! It’s recommended that you use headphones so your hands are free for typing.
