As performance improvement professionals, we have learned not to take all clients' requests at face value. They often reflect the client's perceived needs rather than the organization's actual needs. But how do we to transition from misguided solution requests to meaningful results based on measurable needs? Dr. Ingrid Guerra-Lopez, In her award-winning book, Partner for Performance: Strategically Aligning Learning & Development, argues that the key to that transition is for us to form lasting partnerships with all stakeholders--at the beginning of the engagement and along the critical stages of needs assessment, planning, decision making, and implementation. She also presents an actionable framework--and a wide range of validated tools--for aligning our learning and performance solution practices and strategies with the needs of our organization.
In this webinar, Dr. Guerra-Lopez will draw from those insights. She will describe a process for identifying measurable performance gaps and their root causes and for selecting the best solutions. To help you produce sustainable performance solutions and continual improvement, she will also offer tips and tools for developing effective implementation, transfer, and monitoring strategies. We will conclude with a discussion of the critical role that on-going Performance Support can play in that process.
