About This Event

Whether an external or internal coach or talent professional interested in adding coaching skills to their toolbox, this event will provide actionable learning and tools to foster healthy, high-performing teams in your organization.

In connection with May Mental Health month, please join ATD X ICF NYC chapters for an evening of forward-thinking insights from an expert panel of speakers in the fields of coaching, team coaching, and team performance consulting. As organizations prioritize high performance, how do we also ensure they also incorporate healthy, sustainable ways of working. The panel will explore the relationship between these themes and the opportunity for coaches and talent professionals to make a lasting impact.

This event will also include facilitated breakouts taking a deeper dive into systemic team coaching, followed by networking to connect with and learn from peers.

About Our Presenters

David Lipsky, PhD, PCC | Head Coach, Samsung and Adjunct Professor, NYU SPS

David Lipsky helps leaders and their teams unleash their collective potential to create fresh possibilities and extraordinary results. Fueled by natural curiosity, he coaches and facilitates the acceleration of aligning on the most valuable goals and mapping clear plans that enable focused execution. This strengths-based, innovation generating approach leads to the right conversations at the right time which engage, align and energize people to achieve unique and sustainable results. David has produced results in a variety of complex, multicultural organizations including; Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, KPMG, Johnson & Johnson, Walmart, Sony and UNICEF. He is the Head Coach of Samsung Electronics America, helping to orchestrate the Global Coaching Culture initiative, serves on the Executive Committee of the Conference Board's Coaching and Leadership Development Council, and a Lecturer with New York University.

David Gilman, Team Consultant and Coach | President, Gilman Performance Solutions

David Gilman is President of Gilman Performance Solutions, Inc. and is celebrating 30+ years as a Learning and Coaching professional. His broad range of accomplishments include development of 200+ workshops and 100+ Team, Styles and 360 assessments…all focused on developing and improving:

  • Teams at all levels

  • Leaders of Teams

  • Coaching over 50 professionals from C-Suite to key individuals across industries and functions. 

David applies his depth of Assessments for the need and micro-learning for the Coachee/Team ranging from Fortune 50 to under 50 firms.

David differentiates team building from true team effectiveness and has helped 10+ intact/x-functional teams increase their success through “team coaching;” for 10+ teams just in the last 2 years, applying the appropriate team and/or individual assessment with the skills and tools for success.

David has been a member of NYC ATD for 35+ years. Prior to consulting David was a Manager in the Training/Learning departments of a Fortune 200 firm, Salomon Brothers, Prudential and all of GE Capital. David has an MBA in Organizational Behavior.

Manon Zinzell Hartogsveld, ICF, PCC, ACTC | Systemic Team Coach

Manon is an ICF PCC and ACTC accredited Systemic Team Coach, with advanced credentials in Systemic Team Coaching (GTCI Hawkins) and Complex Adaptive Systems PERILL Team Coaching (GTCI Clutterbuck).

Drawing on over two decades of leadership experience in brand marketing, product design, not-for-profit, and global recruitment, she brings a systemic lens to her work with organizations navigating complexity.

She has coached teams across sectors including the U.S. Department of Defense, tech and digital marketing, academia, fashion retail, food services, telecommunications, city government, and consulting agencies, with a focus on fostering collaboration, trust, and performance.

In addition to her client work, Manon provides systemic supervision to other coaches. Her approach is grounded in transformational coaching and enriched by certifications in Conflict Management, Organizational Mindfulness, Applied Positive Psychology, and Internal Family Systems. She is certified in EQ-i/EQ360 and Hogan assessments.
