Launched in 2018, ATD NYC’s Coaching Center of Excellence (CCoE) is dedicated to promoting leading edge thinking, developing the highest professional standards, and advancing excellence in the art and science of coaching as it relates to talent development.
The CCoE, along with the Special Interest Group in Coaching, serve as a Community of Practice for ATD NYC’s members who are interested in coaching; providing high quality professional development, knowledge sharing, learning and networking opportunities.
Director, Coaching Center of Excellence
Angela has over 20 years global professional experience including more than 10 years experience as a consultant, facilitator, researcher, coach and coach supervisor. She partners with organizations to design and deliver evidence based leadership and coaching programs. Prior to her full-time consulting career, Angela practiced as an attorney, leading large international teams on projects and disputes worth in excess of $1billion. She combines this real world experience with the best current knowledge from research, theory and practice through her extensive involvement in leadership and coaching research, curriculum design, and teaching. She was also part of the writing team responsible for drafting the world’s first ISO (International Organization for Standards) aligned Guideline for the training of coaches and the provision of coaching services.
A former ATD NYC Board member, Angela also serves as Co-Chair of Coaching Supervision Programs. She is a member of the Association of Coaching Supervisors, the Review Panel for Columbia University’s Coaching Conference, a researcher for the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and a Fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Coaching. In addition to her graduate qualifications in law and finance, Angela’s coaching related qualifications include, a MSc. Organizational Coaching Psychology (University of Sydney), Professional Certificate of Advanced Study in Coaching Supervision (Oxford Brooks University), Adult Development (Harvard University), Positive Psychology (University of North Carolina), Human Capital Development (New York University) and International Systemic Team Coaching (Academy of Executive Coaching).
